Unplugged
in Kitakyushu
November 2 - 21, 1998 |

For
this gallery project, he presents photographs in small formats
with
emptiness of space as a promise of liberty. The presentation offers
an exclusive disjunction between "nature (defined by Japanese
landscape tradition)" and constructed space (held by the architectural
logic of the gallery in the city). It is never to return to the original,
but actualization and an embodiment of original as an essential work
of the art.
Jean-Luc Moulene stayed at CCA Kitakyushu as professor of the research
Program during the month of October 1998. |
