The
Project Gallery presented a new installation by Simryn Gill, who
currently lives and works in Sydney.
For her project for CCA, Gill made an installation of run over things
and fragments, which she has collected on the roads of several cities
including Kitakyushu over a number of years. Each of these flattened
objects is mounted on its own set of miniature wheels before being
released into the gallery.
Simryn Gill stayed at CCA Kitakyushu as a professor of the Research
Program during a month in March, 2000. |
