The
Project Gallery will present a show by Maria Eichhorn titled "Curtain
(Jeans) / Lectures by Yuko Fujita and Mika Obayashi" which includes
a part of her work "Curtain" beginning in 1989 and ongoing
lectures by people who are engaged in the anti-nuclear power movement.
The project started last October at the Masataka Hayakawa Gallery
in Tokyo with the lecture by Yuko Fujita "How Can We End the
Nuclear Era" and continues at the CCA with the lecture by Mika
Obayashi.
On the duration of the exhibition both lectures will be presented
in video format.
Maria Eichhorn stayed at the CCA Kitakyushu as professor of the Research
Program from July 4 through July 30, 1998.
