Thomas Bayrle
“The individual in relation to mass Society – the industrial product in relation to mass production is the main subject Thomas Bayrle has been interested in for a long time. With nearly every means used in graphic art - from stamps to computers Bayrle materializes his subjects.”

--- Kasper König

Thomas Bayrle was born in 1937 in Berlin, and now lives and works in Frankfurt am Main. In his works, Bayrle has always been inspired and fascinated by “masses” – such as mass communication, mass media and mass production, and he transforms it into various forms like books, wallpapers, graphic, film, etc. In doing so, his work reveals contradiction, the form of organization and the individuals on which the society rests.
